LATEST ISSUE: Philippine Journal of Media and Information Literacy

Volume 3 Issue 1 (2025)

The Philippine Journal of Media and Information Literacy is a peer-reviewed, annual research journal on media and information literacy published by the Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL), Inc., the Philippine Chapter of UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance.  This features research articles, academic essays, and book reviews related to media and information literacy practices, issues, and trends in the Philippines.

The June 2025 Issue of the Philippine Journal of Media and Information Literacy stands as an important scholarly assemblage that foregrounds the nuanced complexities, persistent contradictions, and critical interventions shaping the Philippine media and information ecosystem at the confluence of digital disruption, cultural continuity, and civic engagement. Altogether, this volume affirms that media and information literacy is not merely technical competence but an ethical and civic imperative, demanding sustained reflection and action from educators, journalists, policymakers, and communities alike in navigating an increasingly mediated world.
