The Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL) had a great opportunity to collaborate with the Philippine Association for Communication and Media Research, Inc. (PACMRI) for the project “ Webinar on Researching Media and Information Literacy” which was held on July 28, 2021, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The following researches were presented in the webinar by its respective distinguished authors:
- “The integration of media and information literacy (MIL) in Senior High School education in the Philippines” by Rudolf Anthony A. Lacerna, DEM, Polytechnic University of the Philippines
- “Socially shared inquiry in MIL in K-12 Senior High Schools” by Madelyn P. Garcia, UP Los Baños
- “Applied research into writing a workbook on MIL” by Maria Gwenetha Y. Pusta, PhD, University of Santo Tomas
- “Democracy resilience and media literacy amid the pandemic: Perspectives of civic journalists” by Hemmady S. Mora, Ed.D, Polytechnic University of the Philippines
The research presentation was followed by an interactive and insightful panel discussion with the distinguished authors which was moderated by Ms. Melinda Quinones of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
