The Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL) and the Communication Foundation for Asia (CFA) signed the Memorandum of Agreement that created the MIL Innovation Hub on August 31, 2021.
The Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Innovation Hub will serve as the clearinghouse for information on MIL in the country and Asia-Pacific. This is going to be a laboratory for incubating innovative ideas on MIL. This will eventually become an organic office of the Communication Foundation for Asia (CFA). Together with CFA, this will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate MIL-related programs and projects aimed at promoting MIL in the country and Asia-Pacific.
The Hub will also serve as the new Secretariat Office of the Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL).
It is also on this occasion that Communication Foundation for Asia Executive Director Ms. Pie Mabanta-Fenomeno formally joins the Board of Directors of the Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL).
