AMIC’s annual conference is the premier event on Asian communication media and attracts eminent international speakers and participants from the communication media industry as well as those from academia. It also provides a venue for the AMIC Asia Communication Award, the most prestigious recognition for Asian communication icons.
The 28th AMIC Annual Conference with the theme “Science Communication:
Managing The Now And The Future” was held on November 20, 27 and December 4, 2021.
The Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL) is one of the conference partners in this virtual event.
The conference features distinguished keynote and plenary speakers such as Noam Chomsky, Audrey Azoulay, Fortunato T. De La Peña, Leon Barkho, Ramesh Bhushal, Jeff Canoy, Mira Desai, Mohan Dutta, Mohamed N. El-Guindy, Martin Hadlow, Sadia Jamil, Masato Kajimoto, Shahbaz Khan, Jonathan Lynn, Crispin C. Maslog, Nina Trang Nguyen, Ginny Smith, Jan Servaes, Kulsoom Siddiqui, Johanna Son, Cheryll Ruth Soriano, Tran Le Thuy, Vu Thanh Van, and Meng Wang.
